Happy 18th Birthday Kandy!

My little sister-in-law turns 18 today! Holy Macaroni!! That means we have NO MORE children in our family!! YIKES!!

I made her this funky little card...

I used double sided paper I bought at Costco last year in a value pack (gotta love Costco!), and Creative Memories stickers, as well as a couple buttons I got in a little surprise package from Karen at Lasting Memories. Easy, easy, easy card... and I like how it turned out!

Happy Engagement card

It is Autumn.

The other morning as I drove Kurtis to work, the fog was so thick we could barely see the lines on the road. The fog lasted all morning, and the temperature stayed at zero until ten o'clock in the morning.

This morning we had the first real THICK frost. I have been wearing socks. I hate socks. My husband is the last person in the world to feel cold; yesterday he turned up the heat in our house. The forecast is calling for snow soon.

Autumn is almost over.

Hubby's Birthday Card

Since it is Friday, I thought I would share something different. This is the first card I have ever shown on my blog! I made this for my Hubby's birthday this year, and wrote all kinds of sweet sentimental garble in it... lovely!

I used a Stampin'Up stamp set, and some random pieces of paper, ribbon and buttons from my stash.

I think my favourite part was the matching envelope... inspired! :)
